Jimmy Webb, one of the world's best songwriters ever, responsible for timeless songs like "By The Time I Get To Phoenix", "MacArthur Park", "Wichita Lineman" and many, many more, keep revisiting his old songs as duets with different friends, old and new. In 2010 he released the album Just Across The River, enlisting help from Mark Knopfler, Glen Campbell, Linda Ronstadt, Willie Nelson and others. Next week sees the release of its follow-up, Still Within The Sound Of My Voice. This time Webb has re-recorded 14 old songs with Lyle Lovett, Amy Grant, Kris Kristofferson, Rumer and others, and the result can be heard in full by following the link below. Favourite so far? Brian Wilson adding his wonderful harmonies to "MacArthur Park".
