The The a.k.a. Matt Johnson has released a handful of truly great albums, Soul Mining (his debut under the The The moniker) certainly being one of them. It was released in 1983, and one of the stand-out tracks is this incredible pop song, featuring an even more incredible piano solo courtesy of the great Jools Holland. He's going at it when "Uncertain Smile" is 3 minutes and 25 seconds long, and he just won't stop, going on for more than three minutes. It's one of pop music's greatest ever piano solos.
