Finally a new Jayhawks album announced

A reformed The Jayhawks featuring both original songwriting members Gary Louris and Mark Olson will be touring this summer, playing Oslo's Øyafestivalen among other things, and now their eagerly awaited new album is finally announced. Mockingbird Time will be released on September 20th and is the first Jayhawks album to feature both since 1995's Tomorrow The Green Grass, although the pair released the collaborative album Ready For The Flood in 2009. The last Jayhawks album was the 2003 release Rainy Day Music.
