Woohee! A perfect slice of summer-flavoured West Coast country rock, Eagles' 1972 single "Peaceful Easy Feeling" is one of those songs that just instantly makes you feel good. It's silver smooth and infectious, crying out for a cocktail (a Tequila Sunrise perhaps?) under a big umbrella in a lounge chair. It was written by master songwriter Jack Tempchin, and it's Glenn Frey who does the lead vocals over fellow Eagles' blissful harmonies. If you could actually taste the sun, this is what it would be like.
