Swedish singer/songwriter, poet and novelist Ulf Lundell is a national treasure in his country, and we like him in Norway too. His most famous song is without a shred of a doubt "Öppna landskap" off his 1982 album Kär och galen, and the reason is obvious. It's a wonderful song that is greatly indebted to the songwriting style of Bruce Springsteen, but Lundell's Swedish poetry is all his own.
