Associates' 1982 single "Party Fears Two" is one of their greatest achievements, an amazing song that caught them at the height of their powers in the post-punk era of the years 1978-84. 1982 is one of the most exciting years in music history after all was said and done in the 50's and 60's and punk happened in 1976 and -77, and Billy Mackenzie and Alan Rankine of Associates were briefly pop stars. This clip is of course from their Top Of The Pops appearance, and the song is from their classic album Sulk.
