The Waterboys' frontman, main songwriter, lead singer and only constant member, Mike Scott, released two solo albums when he tired of the band moniker, but to little or no avail. Bring 'Em All In (1995) and Still Burning (1997), both of them fine records, didn't really stir anyone to rioting. "Mike Scott solo? What's the point?" is what many of us thought at the time. He was and is The Waterboys, using the musicians he requires from album to album, so there's no need to go "solo" as such. To be fair, the first solo album was Scott alone playing everything, but Still Burning was a band record. "Questions" is the opening track, a fabulous song, related to the stuff on the Dream Harder album.
