Dixie Chicks - Not Ready To Make Nice

Dixie Chicks went from being "America's sweethearts" to something like "most hated female act of all time" in the wake of a comment lead singer Natalie Maynes made in London in 2003 about American president George W. Bush. They didn't budge, and a few years later, in 2006, released their sixth album Taking The Long Way, featuring the single "Not Ready To Make Nice", a stark address to their critics. Ironically, "Not Ready To Make Nice" became their biggest US hit single ever. I think that's a good sign.
