In the very first window, please welcome Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters' 1950 recording of Robert Alex Anderson's joyful "Mele Kalikimaka", written one year earlier. The phrase "Mele Kalikimaka" simply means "Merry Christmas" in Hawaiian, and has also been recorded by The Puppini Sisters, KT Tunstall, Chris Isaak, Jimmy Buffett, Bette Midler and many more.
