Russian Red - The Sun The Trees

Russian Red is the pseudonym of Lourdes Hernández from Madrid who recently released her second album Fuerteventura. She writes and sings all her compositions in English, and she went to Scotland to record this album with producer Tony Doogan (Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai, David Byrne). "The Sun The Trees" is simply a joyful, immensely catchy summer song, and to judge by this song she should have a certain commercial potential. There's nothing to not like about this tune.
