U2 - Two Hearts Beat As One

Happy birthday to The Edge, or David as his mother probably adresses him. David Howell Evans a.k.a. The Edge was born 50 years ago today and has grown up to be the master guitar player in one of the most successful bands ever to set foot on a stage. "Two Hearts Beat As One" is the second, often overlooked, single from U2s third album, 1983's War. The Edge had a very distinct playing style on the band's first three or four albums that influenced a lot of bands in those early years, before he really started to evolve as a musician a little later. Tracks like this brings back the memories though, and I have to say I often prefer the early albums such as War and the debut Boy. Brilliant stuff!
