Rockpile were Dave Edmunds and Billy Bremner on guitar, Nick Lowe on bass and Terry Williams on drums, and they were not just any band. Having two proficient singer/songwriters such as Lowe and Edmunds, Rockpile was like a house band for the pair, playing on each others records. The fourpiece recorded four albums in all, the Edmunds albums Tracks On Wax 4 (1978) and Repeat When Necessary (1979), Lowe's Labour Of Lust (1979), and the one "proper" Rockpile album, Seconds Of Pleasure (1980), from which the great rocker "Oh What A Thrill" is lifted.
