Wham! - Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)

Unintentionally funny as this video and song might seem almost 30 years in hindsight, the debut single from Wham! called "Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)" is still an interesting slice of early 80's pop music. It was released in 1982 when George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were complete unknowns but became a hit when re-released the next year after the huge success they enjoyed with the single "Young Guns (Go For It!)". Like several of the other songs on their debut album Fantastic it's a carefree, silly song, but never mind that. This is after all pop music. Also, at the time rap music was pretty much a black, American thing, so in its own strange way this was a peculiar and, as it turned out, rewarding move for the duo.
