Chic - Good Times

Flashback to 1979 and Chic's second number one single on the American charts ("Le Freak" did the deed the previous year). "Good Times" is partners-in-crime Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers at their very best. These guys know what it takes to get people out on the dancefloor! As many of you may know - or at least may notice when hearing this - is that the song is the basis for The Sugarhill Gang's classic rap hit "Rapper's Delight", by many regarded as the song that first popularized hip hop. Never mind that discussion now, just enjoy the "Good Times", all seven and a half minutes of it!
