Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis' amazing production and songwriting skills made Janet Jackson a superstar with her third album Control (1986). It's got some really great songs on it, "Nasty" being the best of the bunch. It's also got a groove to kill for, and all of a sudden Janet was a lot more than Michael Jackson's little sister: "No, my first name ain't 'Baby', it's Janet, Miss Jackson if you're nasty". Pretty cool!
