Well, she's got bad hair, but Trisha Yearwood's first hit single - and debut single - "She's In Love With The Boy" (1991) always gets me in a good mood. Infectious, catchy and kind of innocent, a song about the "puppy love" of Katie and her boyfriend Tommy. It was written in the 1970's by Jon Ims, and offered to none other than Kenny Rogers who apparently said thanks but no thanks. It's a perfect country hit, sung by a star in the making and future wife of another great country star, the incredibly nice and polite Garth Brooks - her third husband, by the way. And to think this recording is already 20 years old... time flies...
