The Chesterfields - Ask Johnny Dee

One of the greatest British pop songs ever, The Chesterfields' "Ask Johnny Dee" (1987), is one of my all-time favorites. The Chesterfields were the perfect indie band, releasing their own "jingly-jangly" singles with fabulous harmonies and equally glorious melodies, and this song is their testimony to posterity. It simply cannot be beaten in terms of sheer joyful infection.
