Was (Not Was) - Knocked Down, Made Small (Treated Like A Rubber Ball)

Was (Not Was) eh... was... something else entirely, a cross between novelty group, avantgardists, rock group, pop group, funk outfit and disco revivalists. They scored a huge worldwide hit with "Walk The Dinosaur" in 1988, and their most performed song "Out Come The Freaks" have been recorded in numerous versions with rewritten lyrics. Don and David Was (a.k.a. Don Fagenson and David Weiss) founded the group that was fronted by the two singers Sweet Pea Atkinson and Harry Bowens in 1979. Their debut album was released in 1981, featuring of course "Out Come The Freaks", and in 1983 they released second album Born To Laugh At Tornadoes. "Knocked Down, Made Small (Treated Like A Rubber Ball)" was the opening track and lead single from that album, a pretty straightforward rock song with certain disco overtones. Here it is, with a silly video, and catchy as hell.
