Whiskeytown - Houses On The Hill

Whiskeytown was an American alt country band fronted by Ryan Adams. The band released two albums in their time together and one posthumous album, Pneumonia, released after Adams went on to begin his successful solo career. "Houses On The Hills" is the band's best song - and they had quite a few - lifted from their second album, the wonderful Strangers Almanac released in 1997. This is an alternative version, but just as good as the one featured on the album. It's hard to find an equal to such a beautiful country ballad.
