Simon Lynge - If You Go
Hello, Greenland! Yes, that big island where people supposedly have fifty words for snow - or more. Simon Lynge is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter from that very island, and is probably Greenland's first pop musician to get signed to an international label, in this case Lo-Max Records in London. "If You Go" is the most immediate song from his excellent debut album The Future and sounds a bit like Keane to me. To quote the one and only Emmylou Harris who have invited Lynge twice now as her support act, "it's always a pleasure to work with Simon Lynge... I think you're going to hear a lot from him". She may just be right. I also think he's going places.
