10CC - Dreadlock Holiday

After Kevin Godley and Lol Creme left 10CC, the band soldiered on with Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman hiring new personnel, and the pair certainly had some more good stuff to offer. "Dreadlock Holiday" is the lead single off 1978 album Bloody Tourists, their second without Godley and Creme. The song, about an encounter with a dreadlocked man looking for cash, was based on an episode that Moody Blues singer Justin Hayward was subjected to. Silly song really, but extremely catchy, and by all means a classic.
