U2 - Surrender

An almost forgotten U2 song, "Surrender" is taken from the band's 1983 album War. It's got a big sound like the rest of the record, and is also really atmospheric with an excellent melody. And here's a bit of trivia for you: "Surrender" is one of three tracks from War that features The Coconuts (as in Kid Creole & The Coconuts) as back-up singers. Quoting producer Steve Lillywhite, they just happened to be in Dublin on tour, so we hung out with them and they came in and sang on "Surrender".
