Let's head back to 1983 and listen to Bauhaus' fantastic single "She's In Parties" from their fourth and final album Burning From The Inside. Maybe their most accessible song ever, it reached an impressive number 26 on the British singles chart. With their epic 1979 single "Bela Lugosi's Dead", Bauhaus basically kicked off the entire goth rock movement. Although it was rather shortlived for the band's sake, the genre has never - excuse the pun - died. And for their part, Bauhaus made a comeback album in 2008 called Go Away White, that really didn't cause much of a stir. Their standing is intact though and their legacy is one of some really good and decidedly gloomy sounding records.
