Janelle Monáe - What An Experience

"What An Experience" is the awesome, life-affirming closing track on Janelle Monáe's second album, last year's wonderful The Electric Lady. It's a perfect end to a really exciting album that goes out on a really positive note. It's a lilting and swaying pop song that bursts into full-on reggae mode towards the end, making it a great party song. I'm really looking forward to seeing Monáe live this summer when she plays Øyafestivalen here in Oslo. It should be quite an experience as well, and I do hope she closes the show with this one.
