For Norwegian bands to become pop stars in the 80's was a rare thing, but there is no mystery surrounding the fact that a-ha became world famous. "I've Been Losing You", the first single off their second album Scoundrel Days (1986), attests to why the trio simply had to become big internationally. It's a bold and adventurous song written by Pål Waaktaar, and at heart it's a classic pop song of the kind that sticks in your mind forever once you've heard it.
