Listen to five tracks from great new Andrea Corr covers album

To judge by the tracks you can listen to from Andrea Corr's upcoming album Lifelines (released May 30th) we have very good things in store. The lead singer of sibling group The Corrs is blessed with a beautiful voice, and now she's put it to excellent use singing a total of 11 cover songs. The five songs you can listen to by clicking on the link below are versions of "Tinseltown In The Rain" (The Blue Nile), "State Of Independence" (Jon & Vangelis), "Lifeline" (Harry Nilsson), "From The Morning" (Nick Drake) and "Pale Blue Eyes" (Velvet Underground).

Further songs are the old musical number "I'll Be Seeing You" (written by Irving Kahal and Sammy Fain for the musical Right This Way), "Blue Bayou" (Lou Reed), "No. 9 Dream" (John Lennon - free download, see below), "They Don't Know" (Kirsty MacColl), "Tomorrow In Her Eyes" (Ron Sexsmith) and "Some Things Last A Long Time" (Daniel Johnston). The girl's got taste!
