The Lilac Time - Return To Yesterday

Today's song is simply glorious pop music - The Lilac Time and their lovely, pastoral "Return To Yesterday" (1988). This is Stephen Duffys band, and among other things he was also a founding member of Duran Duran but left in 1979, prior to their recording career, and has written songs with/for Robbie Williams. Duffy knows his pop music, and in my ears "Return To Yesterday" rings and sings as his finest moment.
