Rolling Stones - Far Away Eyes

"Far Away Eyes" is the sound of Rolling Stones having a lot of fun, rollicking through a Bakersfield style country and western song from what has rightly been referred to as "their last great album", Some Girls (1978). It's about driving around listening to the radio, specifically as Mick Jagger drawls in a mock Southern accent, "listening to gospel music on the coloured radio station". Fantastic song, with a great sing-a-long country chorus. Here we go: "So if you're dooooooown on your luck..."
