Today sees the second part of Led Zeppelin's reissue program in the shops, that being several editions of their untitled fourth album (1971) and Houses Of The Holy (1973). Among the bonus tracks on the former is this alternate mix of the awesome "Rock And Roll", which is basically a frenetic take on a classic 12 bar blues. Jimmy Page's riffing is simply astounding and the song moves at a pace that recalls a locomotive out of control heading for a crash. It's that potent.
