The Clash - London Calling

The best album intro in the history of popular music? Quite possibly. The Clash opened their 1979 masterpiece London Calling with the ominous title track about a London facing a new dawn, and not necessarily a good one. Everything about "London Calling" is awesome, from the opening riff and onwards, and it's certainly one of the band's defining tracks. Besides, the album itself is the best album ever. So there!
