Simple Minds - Alive And Kicking

Simple Minds went through several phases from their beginnings in 1979, through the new romantic masterpiece New Gold Dream in 1982 and went big with the Sparkle In The Rain album in 1984. They went from big to enormous with their next album, Once Upon A Time in 1985, and I mean that more in terms of sound than sales, although they sold a lot of records at the time. The sound of "Alive And Kicking" more or less became their signature for the next few years, and watching the music video it seems they suffered from gigantism - if that's an actual word. However, it is a great song, so please enjoy it!
