Some weeks ago I wrote about Thea Glenton Raknes and her band Thea & The Wild's brilliant new single "Ropes". Now a video has been made, a grainy low-budget film shot in a basement that has a kind of "indie" feel to it. The song only gets better and better the more you hear it, and let me just repeat some lines from what I wrote previously that still sums it up pretty good: "...a (...) pronounced post-punk feel that combines the mystery of Siouxsie & The Banshees with the sexiness and pop sensibility of Blondie around the time of Eat To The Beat." It is, in other words, a great song!
