30 years old now, Everything But The Girl's second single and first major label release, "Each And Every One" from 1984, is a song that constantly calls me back. With its light jazz/bossa nova arrangement and Tracey Thorn's haunted voice, it's EBTG at their most beautiful. Thorn and partner Ben Watt have recorded scores of classics through the years, but this one may actually be my favourite of them all.
