Another great song from this year's masterful new Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds album Push The Sky Away. "Higgs Boson Blues" is a long, slow exercise in the kind of musical understatement that marks the album. Push The Sky Away may be a quiet record, but with loud silences, of which "Higgs Boson Blues" is a prime example. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the first song to namecheck both Robert Johnson and Miley Cyrus.
