Manfred Mann's Earth Band's 1978 album Watch is one of my all-time favourites. When I first heard it upon its release it literally changed my life as few other records have done, in the sense that it became a cornerstone in my record collection and opened up lots of new doors. The version of Robbie Robertson's unknown "Davy's On The Road Again" (co-written with one John Simon for a movie, I think) was the stand-out track among seven fantastic songs, competing with a killer new version of Dylan's "Mighty Queen" and others.
