When Lyle Lovett released the album Pontiac in 1987, it was quite surprising to hear he'd mostly put the country music of his debut aside and showed a jazzier side to himself. Having said that, I'm glad he did. He's been recording lots of different stuff since then, but it's always quality songwriting no matter what label you put on it. "She's No Lady" is a great bar room song, picked from the equally great Pontiac album.
