Jeff Bridges album in August

As previously reported here on the blog Academy Award winning actor Jeff Bridges will release his debut album this year. Now the date has been set, August 16th, and the label is still EMI's legendary Blue Note imprint. Although it's a jazz label, the album produced by T-Bone Burnett will have more of a countryish vibe, as suggested by Bridges' performances in the Crazy Heart movie. The album will feature musicians from these sessions as well as guests Rosanne Cash, Benji Hughes and others yet to be revealed.
