Of all the sad and melancholic Madness songs recorded, "One Better Day" from the 1984 LP Keep Moving is probably the saddest and most melancholic of them all. It's a ballad about two homeless people, a piece of everyday life in London, more precisely at the homeless shelter and hostel Arlington House in Camden Town. In the video the band members pose as homeless people, and it's an utterly beautiful and heartbreaking song, Madness at their very best.
