Steve Earle - Hillbilly Highway

One record I have to listen to every once in a merry while is Steve Earle's 1986 debut Guitar Town. The album is filled to the brim with great songs, and one of the very best is "Hillbilly Highway", about chasing your dreams, the American way if you will, "down that hillbilly highway". It's a stout country-rocker with a melody to die for along with a lot of good energy. Steve Earle was - and is - a great American institution and one hell of a singer/songwriter.
