Pretenders - Don't Get Me Wrong

"Don't Get Me Wrong" from the otherwise unimpressive 1986 album Get Close may just be my favourite Pretenders song. That's saying something, seeing as Chrissie Hynde and her cohorts have about eight or ten songs that may compete for that title. Whatever it is, at least it's their best and most instantly lovable pop song. This is four minutes of pure pop perfection. It doesn't get much better really.
