Welsh trio Stereophonics is really far from being my favourite band, but their 2003 hit "Maybe Tomorrow" is simply a perfect rock song. It's got all the right ingredients - a rasping voice, great chorus, female stonesy woo-hoo harmonies, an awesome wah wah guitar and a very cool beat - and every ingredient blend perfectly in with the others. Lead singer and guitarist Kelly Jones can relax for the rest of his days in the knowledge that he has written an anthemic rock classic such as this, and it was also as you may know used in the closing credits for Paul Haggis' incredible 2004 Academy Award winning movie Crash. I will not hesitate to say that "Maybe Tomorrow" is one of the best rock songs of this millennium.
